Growing up with a dad in real estate, I knew from an early age it was in my blood. After college, I spent a few years in the banking industry helping people navigate the mortgage lending process and then moved into the insurance industry where I sold insurance and investment products. While I enjoyed both professions, in 2002 I decided I could no longer resist my passion and I made the decision to follow my dad's footsteps and become a Realtor.
I am a native Minnesotan (and a self-proclaimed Lake Girl) who has lived in the west metro my entire life. I grew up in Minnetonka, have lived in Eden Prairie and Shakopee and have spent the past 20+ years with my husband and our two children in Chaska where our children attended school from Kindergarten through High School.
Education is extremely important to me. I am a graduate of Eden Prairie High School, completed my undergraduate degree at St. Olaf College, my master’s degree at Mankato State University and completed a Mini-MBA in Real Estate at the University of Saint Thomas. I hold the following real estate designations: MN Real Estate Broker’s license (held by only 22% of Realtors), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS-held by only 3% of Realtors), and Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource (SFR®) as well as many top sales awards (Executive, 100% Club, and Platinum level). I stay current by actively participating in continuing education courses, seminars, webinars, podcasts and industry conferences. I have taught First Time Homebuyer (Homestretch) classes for Carver County CDA for 15+ years.

When I am not working, my favorite place to unwind is anywhere on or near the water. You can find me reading a book on the deck at our lake home, cruising on the pontoon or floating in the water.
While the hours are crazy and the real estate business can be stressful, I love this career and would not trade it for anything. I work with homebuyers and sellers in all phases of homeownership.
